Manuscript Submission Regulations

Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Regulations is to define the submission guidelines for manuscripts submitted to the Journal of the Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers (hereinafter “Society”).

Article 2 (Types)
Two types of manuscripts are accepted by the Society, and authors must define the category that most applies to their manuscripts during submission.
1. Research Paper: The manuscript is not published in any other publications, is fact-based, and contributes to the advancement of the manufacturing industry.
2. Review Article: The manuscript is a review of a specific technology or research trend in the manufacturing industry.

Article 3 (Format)
1. Manuscripts submitted to and revised by the Society must follow these Regulations.
2. The Editorial Board holds the right to revise submitted manuscripts approved for publication.
3. Under any and all circumstances, all authors and manuscripts must comply with the Ethical Guidelines of the Journal.

Article 4 (Submission)
1. All manuscripts shall be submitted via the Society’s online submission system (review.ksmpe.or.kr) at any point throughout the year. The date of receipt of the manuscript is the date on which it reaches the Society.
2. All manuscripts submitted to the Journal must comply with the Journal format.
3. All manuscripts must follow the Journal’s rules and guidelines.

Article 5 (Peer Review)
1. The review will be done by the Journal’s online system.
2. Details related to the peer review will be done in accordance with the [Review Regulations.]
3. To prevent an insufficient review process and/or insufficient editing, all manuscripts that have undergone the editing process within two (2) months from the date of receipt must be reviewed by the Editorial Board for publication.

Article 6 (Transfer of Copyright)
1. When the publication of a manuscript is confirmed, the author must submit a copyright transfer agreement to the Society.
2. The Society shall have the right to publicize manuscripts and other materials submitted in printed, digital, and any other forms.

Article 7 (Others)
Items not specified in these Regulations shall be subject to the decision of the Editorial Board.

논문투고규정

제1조 (목적)
이 규정은 한국기계가공학회지의 논문 투고 과정을 지정하기 위한 것이다.

제2조 (논문의 종류)
한국기계가공학회지에서 출판 가능한 논문의 종류는 아래와 같으며, 투고 시 종류를 지정해야 한다.
1. 연구 논문: 다른 저널에 발표되지 않았으며, 확실한 사실에 기반하며, 기계가공에 기여할 수 있는 논문
2. 리뷰 기사: 기계가공과 관련한 특정 분야에 대한 기술 혹은 연구 동향의 대한 리뷰 기사

제3조 (원고 작성)
1. 원고의 작성과 편집은 반드시 저널의 집필요강을 따라야 한다.
2. 게재가 수락된 원고를 편집진이 집필요강에 따라 편집할 수 있다.
3. 어떠한 경우에도 모든 저자와 논문은 이 저널의 윤리 규정을 준수해야 한다.

제4조 (투고)
1. 논문은 한국기계가공학회지의 온라인 투고 시스템 review.ksmpe.or.kr을 통하여 언제든지 투고될 수 있다. 투고 일자는 시스템이 해당 논문의 투고가 완료된 것으로 기록하는 날짜로 한다.
2. 투고되는 원고는 반드시 저널의 논문 양식을 따라야 한다.
3. 모든 원고는 저널의 규정과 가이드라인을 따라야 한다.

제5조 (동료심사과정)
1. 심사는 한국기계가공학회지의 온라인 시스템에 의하여 진행된다.
2. 동료심사에 관한 자세한 사항은 논문심사 규정을 따른다.
3. 부실한 심사와 편집의 방지를 위하여 투고일로부터 2개월이 경과하지 아니한 상태에서 편집의 과정을 모두 마친 논문은 편집위원회 회의의 재검토를 받아야 게재될 수 있다.

제6조 (저작권 이양 및 유포)
1. 저자는 논문 게재가 가능한 것으로 결정된 논문에 대하여 저작권 이양동의서를 한국기계가공학회에 제출해야 한다.
2. 출판된 논문은 한국기계가공학회에 의하여 인쇄물 또는 전자적인 형태로 유포될 수 있다.

제7조 (기타)
본 규정에 명시되지 않은 사항은 편집위원회의 결정에 따른다.
