Guidelines for Preparation of Manuscripts

Any manuscripts submitted for journals, conference proceedings, other publications to be audited and published by the Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers shall follow the following guidelines.

1. The author of the manuscript should be a member of The Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers.

2. The author is liable for any information contained within the manuscript, and the author has to follow the society's code of ethics in research

3. The manuscript should not have been published elsewhere and should have the originality that contributes to the academics and technological development of the field of manufacturing process.

4. The organization of the manuscript shall be the following: (1) Title (2) Authors [the order of the authors' names shall follow the amount of contribution. If the first author is not the corresponding author, a separate correspondence may be named] (3) Abstract (4) Keywords (5) Introduction (6) Main Text (Theoretical analysis, experimental methods, results and discussion, consideration) (7) Conclusion (8) Acknowledgements (9) References (10) Appendix and other
5. The manuscript should be written in Korean only, Korean and Chinese Character or English only. If the term cannot be translated effectively, the term in its original language should be written in ( ).

6. The title should be as short as possible and the keywords should be 10 words or less in English(Korean).

7. If the manuscript is in Korean or with Chinese Character, the title and authors should be written in Korean and then in English. Next, the abstract and keywords should be written in English, and shall be 200 words or less. There should not be a chart or footnote in the abstract.

8. If the manuscript is in English, the title and author shall be written in English and then in Korean. Next, an English abstract and Korean summary should be written, Keywords should be in English (Korean), main text should be in English.

9. The figures or tables in the manuscript should be cleanly drawn using CAD or the tracing tool to draw the Margin settings, left 13mm, Preface 20mm, left 28mm, right 28mm, Binding 0mm, 60mm at the bottom, footer, 13mm to A4 paper. The table or figure should be captioned in English (Table 1..., Fig. 1...) and according to numbers shall be mentioned the location and explanation within the main text. the table's caption should be located on the left side of the upper part of the table, and the caption of the figure is located at the bottom center of the figure. The contents of the table and the figure should be written in English.

10. Numbers within the manuscript should be Arabic numbers, units should be SI units, numbers and units shall have a space between them.

11. Quotaions and references should be numbered and labeled with index numbers following the sequence of use in the text. To label the reference within the text, superscript the number in parenthesis either within the sentence or at the end of the sentence. (1) ~ at the end of the sentence[1,3]

12. References shall be cited in English as following. Author's last name, First initial. Two or more authors should be separated with a "," and the last author should be connected with ", and ". 13. When submitting to the journal, submit an application on-line. Go to http://www.ksmpe.or.kr and log-in, click on "Paper" and "Journal / submission" after reading the code of ethics, upload a hwp file. When submitting, a review fee shall be charged.

14. A manuscript may be submitted any time, and the submitted date will be the date the manuscript is submitted to the society.

15. Any manuscripts not following the aforementioned guidelines shall not be received.

16. Any manuscripts submitted will not be returned. Manuscripts passing the review shall follow the society's copyright policy.

17. Manuscripts to be published in the journal will be determined by the opinions of the 3-person review board appointed by the editing council and the society's review policy.

18. If the manuscript is confirmed of publication following the final review, the author shall upload the final copy in hwp format to the society.

19. The author is allowed one edit during the printing process, and the responsibility of edit is solely upon the author.

20. The author is responsible for the fee upon publishing.

21. Journal articles(commentary, instructions, featured articles) and conference journal articles should also follow the aforementioned guidelines.

논문 원고 집필요강

한국기계가공학회에서 발행하는 학회지, 학술대회 논문집에 게재하기 위해 심사를 의뢰할 논문 원고 및 기타 원고는 본 집필요강에 의해 작성한다

1. 논문 원고의 작성자는 한국기계가공학회 회원을 원칙으로 한다.

2. 논문 원고 내용의 책임은 저자에게 있으며, 저자는 본 학회의 연구 윤리규정을 준수하여야 한다.

3. 논문은 타 학회지에 발표되지 않은 것으로 기계가공 및 생산공학 분야의 학문과 기술발전에 기여할 수 있는 독창성이 있어야 한다.

4. 논문의 체제는 다음 순서로 한다. (1) 제목 (2) 저자명[저자명의 기재순서는 해당 논문에 대한 기여도의 순서로 하되, 제1저자가 교신저자가 아닌 경우에는 별도로 교신저자를 명기할 수 있다.] (3) 초록 (4) keywords (5) 서론 (6) 본문(이론해석, 실험방법 결과 및 토론, 고찰) (7) 결론 (8) 후기 또는 사사 (9) 참고문헌 (10) 부록 및 기타
5. 논문 원고는 한글 전용 또는 한글과 한자 혼용, 영문 전용으로 작성하고, 용어의 의미가 난해 할 경우는 ( )안에 원어를 명기하도록 한다.

6. 논문의 제목은 되도록 간결해야 하고 keywords는 영문(국문)으로 10단어 이내로 작성한다.

7. 논문이 한글 혹은 한자 혼용일 때는 제목과 저자명을 한글 표시한 다음, 영문으로 제목과 저자명을 표시한다. 다음에 초록과 keywords를 작성하여야 하며, 초록은 영문으로 200단어 이내로 작성한다. 초록에는 도표 또는 참고문헌 표시가 있어서는 안 된다.

8. 논문이 영문일 때는 제목과 저자명을 영문으로 표시한 다음, 한글로 제목과 저자명을 표시한다. 다음에 영문 Abstract와 한글요약을 작성하고, keywords는 English(한글), 영문으로 본문을 작성한다.

9. 논문에 표 및 그림은 CAD나 트레이싱 도구로 깨끗이 그려야 하며, 여백설정은 A4용지를 기준으로 위쪽 13mm, 머리말 20mm, 왼쪽 28mm, 오른쪽 28mm, 제본 0, 아래쪽 60mm, 꼬리말 13mm로 한다. 표 및 그림의 캡션은 영문(Table 1…, Fig. 1 …)으로 표시하고, 번호순에 따라 본문 중에 그 위치를 표시하고 설명을 명기해야 한다. 표의 캡션은 표의 윗 부분 좌측에 표기하고, 그림의 캡션은 그림의 아래 중앙에 표기하며, 표와 그림의 내용은 영문으로 작성되어야 한다.

10. 논문 중에 숫자는 아라비아 숫자를 사용하며, 수량 단위는 SI단위의 사용을 원칙으로 하며, 수량과 단위는 붙여 쓴다.

11. 인용 및 참고문헌은 인용 순서대로 번호를 붙인 색인 번호를 본문의 인용처에 반드시 기입한다. 본문 중에 참고문헌을 표시하는 방법은 문장 끝 또는 문장 중에서 위첨자로 [ ]안에 그 번호를 표기한다. (1) 고속가공에 관한 연구가 있다[1,3].

12. 참고문헌은 다음과 같이 영문으로 표시한다. 저자명은 성을 먼저 쓰고 이름 약자를 쓴다. 저자가 2인 이상인 경우 ","로 구분하고 마지막 저자명 앞에는 ", and" 로 연결한다. 각 문헌의 마지막에는 마침표를 찍는다. A. 저서일 경우 : 저자명, 책명, 출판사명, 인용 페이지, 발행년도. (1) Rao. Engineering Optimization-Theory and Practice, Wiley- Interscience Publication, pp. 200-2005, 1996.

13. 논문집에 논문을 투고할때는 온라인으로 논문게재신청을 한다. 우선 학회 홈페이지 "http://www.ksmpe.or.kr"에 접속하여 log-in을 한 후 "학술지/투고" 클릭 → "on-line투고" 클릭하여 윤리규정을 확인한 후 한글 file을 upload한다. 투고 시 소정의 심사료를 납부한다.

14. 원고는 수시로 접수하며 투고원고의 접수일은 학회에 접수된 일자로 한다.

15. 본 학회 원고 집필 요강에 위배되는 원고는 접수하지 않는다.

16. 접수된 원고는 일체 반환하지 않는다. 제출된 원고 중 심사 통과되어 게재될 논문의 저작권은 본 학회 저작권 규정에 따른다.

17. 논문집에 게재하기 위한 논문의 심사는 편집이사회에서 추천한 3인 심사위원의 심사의견과 학회논문심사 규정에 따라 게재여부를 결정한다.

18. 최종심사 결과 게재가 확정된 경우, 논문의 저자는 최종심사본의 내용이 담긴 전산화일(hwp.한글본)을 학회에 upload하여야 한다.

19. 인쇄과정에서 저자의 원고 교정은 원칙적으로 1회에 한하며, 교정의 책임은 저자에게 있다.

20. 게재될 논문의 저자는 투고요령에 따른 소정의 게재료를 납부하여야 한다.

21. 논문을 제외한 학회지(해설, 강좌, 특집 등)와 학술대회 논문집에 관한 원고도 본 집필요강에 준하여 작성한다.
