Regulations on Preprinting of the Journal of the Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers

Article 1 (Purpose)
This regulation establishes policies on preprinting the Journal of the Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers (hereinafter referred to as the “journal”).

Article 2 (Definition of Preprint)
A preprint refers to a manuscript that an author shares on a publicly accessible platform before submission to a journal or at the time of submission.

Article 3 (Permission of Preprint)
The journal fully supports and recommends storing preprints on authorized non-profit preprint servers.

Article 4 (Duplicate Publication of Preprints)
The journal allows a duplicate submission. The journal does not consider a preprint as a duplicate submission or duplicate publication.

Article 5 (The Author’s Obligation to Notify Preprint)
The author must notify the existence of a preprint version at the time of the manuscript submission and provide a link.

한국기계가공학회지 프리프린트 규정

제1조 (목적)
이 규정은 한국기계가공학회지(이하 학회지)의 프리프린트 정책을 정하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

제2조 (프리프린트의 정의)
프리프린트는 저널에 제출하기 전 또는 동시에 공개적으로 접근 가능한 플랫폼에 저자가 게시한 논문을 말한다.

제3조 (프리프린트의 허용)
학회지는 공인된 비영리 프리프린트 서버에 프리프린트를 보관하는 것을 전적으로 지원하고 권장한다.

제4조 (프리프린트의 중복 출판)
학회지는 학회지는 프리프린트의 투고를 허용한다. 학회지는 프리프린트를 중복 투고 또는 중복 출판으로 취급하지 않는다.

제5조 (저자의 프리프린트 고지 의무)
저자는 논문 투고 시에 프리프린트 버전의 존재 여부를 고지해야 하고 링크를 제공해야 한다.
